We believe the best photo-sharing tools should be invisible — they just work, for everyone, without friction.
Your photos are yours. We do not use them for advertising, training, or any purpose beyond running the service. Galleries are private by default.
We do not use third-party analytics trackers. We do not build profiles on you or your guests. We collect only what we need to operate.
You own every photo you upload. We hold a limited licence to store and serve them. You can delete everything at any time.
From teenagers to grandparents — Elbum works for any guest, on any phone, without installing anything. Frictionless means everyone.
Elbum is built and operated by IdeaWorks ApS, a small software company based in Denmark. We are a small team with a big ambition: to become the default way people share photos at events.
We are a bootstrapped product, not a VC-funded startup. That means we answer to our customers, not to investors. We grow by building something people genuinely love — not by growth-hacking or burning money on ads.
Denmark has some of the strongest privacy regulations in the world, and we take that seriously. GDPR is not a compliance checkbox for us — it is a design principle.
